How can I be sure that I am on the official Pelican International website?
  1. Always validate the contact us email address (we have only 1 valide email and it is service@pelicansport.com)
  2. We do not accept Paypal as a method of payment
  3. Make sure the website is pelicansport.com any other website claiming to sell our produts is not affiliated with Pelican.
  4. By clicking on our social media icon on our website you will actually be redirected to our social media page on
    facebook or youtube. Fraudulant websites will direct you towards Youtube or Facebooks home page, not a pelican official page.
  5. Our website has a careers section fraudulant websites might not.

How do I make a warranty claim for a faulty product?

To make a warranty claim, please fill out the information form on our website, or click here.
During business hours, warranty claims are usually processed within 48 to 72 hours. Our team should get back to you with a solution within 7 to 10 business days.

How can I follow up on my order?

To follow up on your online order, use the tracking number sent to you by email. Make sure to check your junk mail, just in case. If you haven’t received a tracking number, please send us an email with your order confirmation number.

Can you help me locate a part?

Our team can help you check compatibility of parts. Use the contact form to send us your serial number and the part you are looking for. Parts can be purchased on our website, but some might be discontinued. Also, please note drilling and cutting your hull will void the warranty in the immediate area of the modification.

Can I purchase directly from your company?

We are a manufacturing facility not open to the public, however some selected products are available for purchase on our website. Our products can also be purchased from several stores, including Dicks Sporting Goods, Dunhams, L&M Supply, Bass Pro, Tractor Supply, Costco, Walmart, Canadian Tire*, Atmosphere*, Sail*, Patrick Morin* and many more. Please use the dealer locator on our website to contact sellers for any requests on inventory and availability. *Canada only.

Do I need a manufacturer statement of origin (MSO) for my kayak or boat?

The law in your state may require you to get a manufacturer statement of origin in order to register your kayak or boat. You can either fill out a form by clicking here, or if you need one issued by Pelican, please send us an email with the serial number of your product (ZEP-5 NUMBERS-1 LETTER-3 NUMBERS), and we will gladly provide you with one. Please note that every state has different requirements; you might want to contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to verify what is needed for registration.

How can I return my order?

After purchasing Pelican products, when can I expect to receive them?

Estimated delivery time is 10-14 business days after your order has been placed.

Can I find replacement parts for older models?

Yes! We still carry parts from older models. However, to verify the compatibility of specific parts, please email us. After providing us with your serial number (ZEP-5 CHIFFRES-1 LETTRE-3 CHIFFRES) and a picture of your kayak or boat, a customer service agent will be able to send you a list of compatible parts. Please note that we might not carry parts dating more than a few years, and that some parts may be discontinued. We will do our best to help you find what you need!

Can I use my kayak in the ocean or rough waters?

Our kayaks and boats are designed for recreational use and shouldn’t be used in the ocean. You should always see the shore and stay at a safe distance for you to be able to swim back in case of capsizing. Our products are meant to be used on calm waters only

How do I repair a hole in the hull of a boat or kayak?

Our products are made from RAM-X™, a multi-layer material exclusive to Pelican. To repair this type of damage, the hull will need to be welded. We recommend contacting Polyvance through their website or by calling 1-800-633-3047 for more information on this type of repair. You may also reach out to a local welder.

Should I take out the styrofoam blocks from my kayak?

Do not remove the styrofoam blocks. These blocks will keep your kayak above water in case of capsizing or if it fills up with water.

I'm looking for a product, can you help me locate it?

While we would love to help you in your quest, with the present distribution chain we do not have access to stores/dealers inventory. We recommend you try Store locator and contact stores in your area to know what they have available for you. Parts and accessories are available for purchase on our website.

Why is the price at my retailer different than your MSRP price ?

The Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price is not a set price of resale. It can be different for many reasons : Retailers might offer additional accessories to you, shipping might or might not be included at their location, taxes, etc.
